- Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years day and July 4 Independence day
The garden depends upon the generosity of its visitors to ensure that it can fulfill its mission to preserve and protect this important environmental and educational resource. Rates effective January 1, 2013:
Active military and up to five (5) family members will be admitted FREE, thru Labor Day, 2013.

Much of the garden, including the Courtyard and Boardwalk Loop, is easily wheelchair accessible by boardwalk (some with a low incline).
Docent Tours are available on request and arrangements must be made in advance by calling 305-296-1504. Tours last approximately 1-1/2 hours. The cost is $15 per person or $25 for two persons. Locals bringing an out-of-town guest are free. Private tours can also be arranged by appointment for groups of 6 or more.
How To Get Here
By City Bus
The Garden is accessible from the "Bayshore" bus stop on College Road which is west of "Hospital" stop (18). View the bus schedule for a map and times. From downtown Key West a blue or red bus is your best option.
From North: From US 1 South, turn right at the stoplight onto College Road and another right at the Garden entrance, then follow the signs to parking.
From South and West: Turn onto US 1 North, immediately after crossing the Cow Key channel bridge from Key West onto Stock Island, take first left onto College Road. Turn right at the Garden entrance and follow the signs to parking.
Parking is free; buses are welcome.
